Introducing: ReVrb Leader Hubs™

Sep 20, 2018

This week marks the official launch of ReVrb Leader Hubs™.

My friends and colleagues may or may not know this about me, but I’m a bit of a rebel and a skeptic. I’m a Gen Xer, and while I don’t go to punk rock shows anymore (if you follow us on social media, you might see a picture someday), that spirit of only being interested in what is real and authentic defines me.

Combine that with my 25 years as a professional in talent and organizational development, and the result is someone who has little patience for what is being passed off as “leadership development.” It’s mostly marketing hype and packaging and a waste of money that produces little more than a binder that collects dust on the shelf.

I’m excited about this launch because ReVrb Leader Hubs™ is a unique and powerful blend of experiences that does what many promise, but few can deliver. It combines proven methods that will ensure the long-term success of standout, high-performing talent — everyone from emerging leaders who want to achieve higher levels of leadership to senior managers with C-suite aspirations.

I’m also excited about my partner. Natalie Ackerman joined my team in May to help me bring this platform to life. I knew I couldn’t do it alone, and when I met Natalie, I knew I had met someone like me who has decades of experience, has seen just about everything, and who can cut through the BS to discern what really works. Natalie is a certified executive and career coach, a former Fortune 500 leader, and business owner. She leads the ReVrb business and will kick off our first groups this fall.

So, what is ReVrb Leader Hubs™?

It’s a combination of assessment, executive coaching, peer group-based action learning and peer coaching. Think of it as a personal board of directors for non-CEO’s. We assemble leaders in similar positions from across industry and from within a functional profession (like sales, marketing, HR or finance) to form a Hub. The Hub is there to provide insight, feedback, support, and — most importantly — accountability.

The Hub meets monthly under the guidance of their assigned facilitator/coach, with an agenda for tackling common challenges, getting exposed to market-relevant best practices, navigating professional careers, and learning how to become a better leader. Each Hub member meets with the coach quarterly, with an agenda for developing and executing a development plan.

Keep updated with ReVrb Leader Hubs™ on social media: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Our website will be coming soon with more information.

Also, we are accepting nominations for Director and VP level leaders for groups starting in mid-October so contact us through this blog if you have someone to nominate.

We’ll be revealing more, including the why behind the name, in the coming days and weeks. Come back often!
